Stacey Chillemi asked me a question on The Authority Business Show that most founders never sit with long enough.

Every decision routing through you feels like leadership. It also feels like the thing that made the business work in the first place. In reality, it is the ceiling the business cannot get past. A week away and everything slows. A month away and things start to break.

The problem is not lack of effort. It is lack of clarity. When you know exactly what the business needs from you and what it does not, you stop being the person every question routes to. You become the person the strategy routes through.

Stacey and I got into how I built Solpak to run without me being in every decision. Not by walking away. By building the roles and processes that let the team carry the work forward.
