The room felt different that night

The CCIVS Super Gala is a serious event. The Chambre de commerce et d'industrie Vaudreuil-Soulanges brings together the business community of our region, and the BonsCoups recognition is not handed out casually.

Five companies are recognized. Five, out of everything that is happening in this region.

When Solpak's name was called, I was not thinking about the award. I was thinking about a conversation I had earlier that day with one of our longest-serving team members.

What that conversation was about

He had been with Solpak for years. We were talking about how much the company had changed since he joined.

Not the revenue numbers. Not the client count. The culture.

He said something I have not forgotten: you can tell the difference between a company that is growing because the founder is pushing and one that is growing because the team believes in it.

He said Solpak had become the second kind.

That is the recognition that actually matters to me. The gala was a reflection of it.

What the BonsCoups award represents

Community recognition is different from industry recognition. Industry recognition says you are technically excellent. Community recognition says you have contributed something to the place where you operate.

Solpak is a Vaudreuil-Soulanges company. We employ people from this region. We serve clients in this region. We are part of the economic fabric here.

Being recognized by the CCIVS is a reminder of that responsibility.
