Solpak Building - Day 14 of 14 : The Team

This is the team.

Not a department. Not a headcount. The team. Every single person who makes Solpak work.

I started this company alone. One person, one phone, one idea. Twenty years later, this is what it looks like. More than fifteen players who chose to be here. Who chose to build something together. Who show up every day and make it better than it was yesterday.

And there is another team I have to acknowledge. The Oliver team. Our partners. The ones who chose to build the next chapter with us. Who believed in Solpak enough to put their name next to ours.

I did not build Solpak. We built Solpak.

Over 14 days, I showed you my office. The building. The door. The artifacts. The bookshelf. The whiteboard. The awards. The values on the wall. Every element told a piece of the story.

But the story was never about the objects. It was always about the people.

A founder’s job is not to have all the answers. It is to build a team that finds better answers than you ever could alone. And then to get out of the way.

That is what freedom actually looks like. Not a beach. Not a bank account. A team that does not need you. And chooses to work with you anyway.
