Workspace - Day 11 of 14 : The Hat

I am a hat guy. Always have been. Maybe because I am going bald like my father did. Maybe because he often had something on his head to protect from the sun. Probably both.

Some things do not need a business lesson. Some things do not need a framework. They just need to be there.

I was 18 when I worked with my father near Maracaibo. Ciudad Ojeda. He taught me querer es poder. To want is to be able. To shoot for gold and never limit yourself.

This hat is not a strategy. It is a signal. It tells me where I come from. And it sits right next to the words I wrote on those chalkboards about where I am going.

Roots and direction. You need both.
